Seconday Applications

Once a medical school receives your primary application, secondary applications are sent out. Some secondary applications are sent to the permanent mailing address indicated in the primary application, while others are electronically sent to the e-mail address designated in the primary application. These applications allow schools to gather further information specific to their institution. Additional fees, ranging from $50-$100, must accompany the secondary applications. These fees, combined with the primary application filing fee and traveling expenses, can bring the cost of applying into the thousands of dollars. If you have financial difficulties, you can apply for aid during the primary application.
