The B.S. degree program in Biomedical Engineering can fully satisfy the necessary coursework required by most medical schools if certain electives are taken. Most medical schools require a full year of biology and a full year of organic chemistry. This web page is intended to provide information regarding the application process and requirements for medical school specific to biomedical engineering majors.

Dr. Jay McIsaac (jmcisaa@harthosp.org) is the premed advisor for UConn Biomedical Engineering students. He is a BME Adjunct faculty member, who is a physician and a biomedical engineer.
