Coops and Internships for Undergraduates

BME students can do an internship at a BME Faculty lab at UConn, or pursue an internship opportunity off campus.

Undergraduate students in BME may pursue internship opportunities inside or outside of the University of Connecticut. Internships afford students the opportunity to improve their resume writing, hone interview skills, explore a diverse variety of companies and gain valuable work experience. Students may pursue opportunities in any of the 50 states.

For UConn internship opportunities, check the Internship bulletin board in the Bronwell Building, or visit the Faculty homepages and contact those Faculty in your area of interest to explore an internship.

COOPS and Internships at BME Companies

To review internships opportunities, first consider your geographical preferences and develop a list of locales suited to your needs. For BME Companies, check out the following two websites:

Company list
BME Net

The BME department will use your geographic parameters to produce a regional list of biomedical engineering companies, tailored to your explicit needs. From this list, you may independently pursue as many of the companies as desired.

Contact:
BME Program Office, Bronwell 217, 860-486-5838 for opportunities and additional information.
