Accessory Devices
The project entails a joystick control device and a secondary viewing screen designed to operate and enhance the client’s existing augmentative device, developed by DynaVox Technologies®. The joystick has a large gripping surface and enables the client to use the direct-select option on the DynaVox® resulting in a faster and more efficient means of communication. The LCD viewing screen allows the client to engage in more active and personal conversations. Combined, the two devices will meet the client’s needs to interact more effectively with others.
