The effects of Cerebral Palsy can largely affect the posture and movement of an artist with aspirations of painting. Versatile Painting Solutions target the difficulties encountered by an artist with this condition. This particular artist has restricted hand and arm movement.  This project consists of a highly adjustable arm support and a wrist attachment that holds writing devices. The support system allows an aid to move the artists arm into a suitable position quickly and easily and then provides support necessary to paint on a canvas.  This particular client uses his wrist to paint.  The attachment for his wrist allows pens, paintbrushes, or markers to be used in a way that allows our client to draw to the best of his abilities.  The devices are designed to maximize self sufficiency for this particular client with very specific movement restrictions.
