Patient Positioning Aid Description of Project The purpose of this project is to develop a patient positioning aid which can be utilized by individuals with various disabilities. Many individuals with disabilities lack access to imaging technologies because of difficulties related to patient positioning, which may include transferring onto medical devices and maintaining static positions during use. The optimal design will be a versatile, low-cost, easy-to-use patient positioning aid that works with a range of imaging platforms.
