Sasan Jalili, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor

Principal Investigator of The Jalili Lab
at the Jackson Laboratory

The interplay between the commensal microbiota and the mammalian immune system development and function includes multifold interactions in homeostasis and disease. Our laboratory uses different engineering tools, such as microneedle skin patches, organoid engineering and organ on chip systems to not only unravel the microbiome-immune crosstalk but also develop novel therapeutic modalities for immune-related diseases.
