Education Abroad

The Biomedical Engineering Program highly recommends an Education Abroad experience for all students.

The UConn Education Abroad Program has exchange agreements with many universities around the world (see website at http://abroad.uconn.edu/). These opportunities may include coursework in biomedical engineering, engineering, and many other subjects, as well as an immersion in unique cultures. In addition to education abroad opportunities during the academic year, opportunities exist for an education abroad summer experience. BME students work primarily with the UConn Education Abroad office and should attend their information sessions. Students may meet with their Academic Advisor to discuss coursework that may be taken, the requirements they may meet, and the best time to go.
